“When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread… Jesus said to them, ‘Come and have breakfast.’”
— John 21: 9,12
We are not a brand. We are not a movement. We are not a reaction to the Church.
Lowfire is a quiet fire - one that calls people back to presence, simplicity, and the deeper way of Jesus. Born from the story of John 21, we exist to help people step outside the noise and encounter God again: on the coast, around the table, under the stars. This page is our heartbeat, the why behind everything we do.
To awaken a deeper way of following Jesus.
Stepping beyond comfort into adventure, simplicity, and the untamed places of creation
We want to create a space for all to discover something new in their faith - where the noise settles, the heart opens, and something sacred begins.
A place where the spark ignited on retreat can be carried home, reshaping how we live and love long after the fire burns out.
1. Wilderness-Based, Embodied Formation
We meet God with our whole selves - mind, body, and spirit - through ocean, trail, sweat, and silence. The wilderness becomes both the classroom and the table.
2. Deep, Gospel-Centered Identity & Surrender
No masks. No striving. We create space for people to rediscover who they are in Christ; through surrender, not performance.
3. Community Through Shared Experience
Real formation happens shoulder to shoulder, not just face to face. We build brotherhood and sisterhood through challenge, honesty, and shared rhythms.
4. Confession, Idol Exposure & Healing
We confront the idols that have shaped us - not in lectures, but in experiences. Through embodied practices, vulnerability, and the Spirit’s leading, healing begins.
5. Missional Reintegration
Formation isn’t meant to stay at the fire. We equip each person to return home with clarity, humility, and purpose, ready to bring the Kingdom into the everyday.
There is a fire that still burns in the wild. It doesn’t demand attention; it waits, with warmth, with clarity, with truth. It calls to those who are hungry for something real. You’ll find it on coastlines and cliffs, in forests and desert trails - in the quiet corners of creation where the soul can breathe again. Lowfire exists for those who feel the pull to return: to presence, to simplicity, to the deeper way of Jesus.
We believe this faith was never meant to stay indoors. It was made to move, to be lived out under open skies, around shared tables, through honest questions, real friendships, and sacred encounters. This isn’t about performance or perfection. It’s about becoming. About letting go of what no longer gives life and making space for what does.
We believe that beauty restores. That creation reveals. That transformation takes time and often begins in the quiet. God still meets people in wild places and speaks in ways that can’t be manufactured.
Lowfire isn’t a movement. It’s not a brand. It’s not an escape from the Church. It’s a fire in the wilderness, a return to what’s holy and human. A place to walk together: imperfect, hopeful, awake. So come. Bring your story. Bring your wonder. Bring whatever’s true and unfinished in you. There’s a place for it here. Let the fire warm you. Let the Spirit move you. Let the deeper way begin.
